As an eLearning specialist, I’ve experienced personally how AI is changing the way we think about learning. Using AI algorithms, for example, to analyse a learner’s performance and tailor the learning material to their specific needs can result in a more personalised and successful learning experience.
Consider a language learning software that uses AI to analyse a learner’s pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. Based on the results of this study, the app may modify the lessons to focus on areas where the student needs to improve, hence optimising the learning process.
Furthermore, chatbots powered by AI can provide learners with real-time feedback, guidance, and support. Learners can ask questions, seek clarification, and receive personalised recommendations without requiring the assistance of a human instructor. Not only does this save time and money, but it also allows learners to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule.
Finally, AI is revolutionising eLearning by providing personalised, adaptable, and responsive learning experiences to learners. It is our obligation as eLearning professionals to embrace new technologies and fully utilise their potential to provide engaging and effective learning experiences for our learners.
